FRESH FROM THE OVEN

Where It All Began

The bakery is where The Flour Girl story started — with a loaf of sourdough, a wild yeast starter and a love of making really good food.

OUR BAKERY

It All Started With Sourdough

From humble beginnings with a small Facebook group and front porch pick-up to the four-building campus we call home today, The Flour Girl began with a loaf of sourdough.

That same bread is now available in more than 80 different flavours. Every batch begins with our original wild yeast starter, created from wild Concord grapes many years ago. Our loaves are mixed by hand, given plenty of time to rise, then hand-shaped, scored and baked fresh.

It’s Not All About the Bread

Our bakery case is filled throughout the day with freshly baked favourites, from muffins and cookies to sourdough scones and plenty of other treats that change regularly.

And, of course, there are our famous Sunday cinnamon rolls…
