The bakery is what started it all! From its humble beginnings of a small Facebook group and front porch pick-up to the four building campus we currently occupy, it all started with a loaf of sourdough bread. That very same bread is now available in over 80 different flavors. Each batch begins using the original wild yeast starter that The Flour Girl created from wild concord grapes many years ago. Our loaves are mixed by hand, risen for a minimum of 12 hours, and then hand-shaped, scored, and baked fresh each day.
Our sourdough is unique both in texture and flavor. We offer a wide variety of both sweet and savory options guaranteed to tickle your fancy and our bread’s signature dense crumb which gives you a bread that can hold up to whatever you put on top of it. We don’t mess around when it comes to our loaves either; each loaf weighs in at just under a whopping 3 pounds, but don’t worry, our bread also freezes great!
It’s not ALL about the bread!
In addition to our weekly bread offering, our bakery case is filled multiple times a day with a wide selection of fresh baked goods. We offer muffins, cookies, sourdough scones, and other delights that change frequently. We also offer our famous cinnamon rolls on Sunday mornings! We have a lot to say about them, so we suggest you read up on them here.
