Indulge in a sensory evening of local literature and fine flavors on Friday, June 5th, at 6:00 PM. We are delighted to host the launch of Sundae Nights by local author Michelle Augustyn. This event holds a special place in our hearts, as Michelle has been a devoted consultant and mentor to our own owner, Michelle Nicholson, since the very earliest days of The Flour Girl.
Set against the shimmer of a sultry Boston summer, Sundae Nights follows the undeniable spark between two strangers, Cole and Catie, whose simple ice cream date hints at a much sweeter future. To bring the story’s nostalgia to life, guests will be treated to a formal guided tasting of five artisan chocolate bars inspired by classic flavors: Mint Chocolate Chip, Caramel Cone, and Black Raspberry Ruby. After the tasting, you’ll listen to a short, evocative reading by chief storyteller, Michelle.
Tickets are $100 per person and include your own copy of Sundae Nights along with a selection of chocolates to take home for later enjoyment. This is a BYOB event, and we encourage you to bring along your favorite beverage— a bold red wine pairs beautifully with these cocoa profiles! Join us at our cafe for a night where city lights, summer romance, and gourmet chocolate meet.
